Tyler W. Wickman

Tyler W. Wickman grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin and graduated from Ashland High School in 2001. From there he went to St. Norbert College (B.A., 2005 summa cum laude) and Marquette University Law School (J.D., 2008, magna cum laude). He was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 2008.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and the tribal courts of the Bad River and Red Cliff Bands of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. Attorney Wickman is the city attorney for Ashland and Mellen. He has been named a Rising Star by Wisconsin Super Lawyers for several years and has been a contributor to the Marquette University Law School blog.

He is also very active in the community, and has participated in several clubs and organizations over the years including the Ashland Kiwanis Club, Ashland Mural Walk Project, Inc., and Family Forum, Inc. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Northland College. Currently, Attorney Wickman serves on the board of directors for Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center, the Oredocker Foundation (current President), Ashland Area Development Corporation, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

In his free time, you will find Attorney Wickman enjoying the outdoors; skiing, hunting, or fishing with his wife, five children, and two dogs. He also referees hockey.
